Obélisque de Chabtine
The launching of the “Sustainable Agricultural Production in Lebanon” project, which aims at supporting alternative agricultural production, provided that the pilot project will be launched at Chabtine - Batroun area to include other towns and regions throughout Lebanon.
Funded by Steps of Hope in partnership with the Organization for Social and Agricultural Development - OSAD and implemented by CDDG.
The project starts by providing 50 lavender and 50 thyme seedlings to 40 farmers each, followed by a workshop on alternative cultivations, and the opening of the “Farmers House” where a larger number of seedlings will be planted and modern machines will be installed at the service of farmers to produce lavender and thyme derivatives.
